Hi all, Happy new year . I have a 300 tdi 110 def ,I am trying to buy a new serpentine belt and tensioner but get told I have a wrong engine number . The number on the block is :- 23E21###.

You sure its not 23L? That's a 300 engine code

Oh and it's stamed on the head not block so could easly be wrong if its had a head gasket.

Mine should be 16L been a 94 300tdi but its had a new head and is now 18L which is a 300 edc disco I think
