Engine noise from a 2013 Land Rover Sport HSE Lux.

So I purchase vehicles at the auction. We received a 2013 HSE sport luxury that only requires some body work. Although the vendor wants far more than we bid on it for, it was subject to approval. I'm wondering whether this sounds normal or if this could be a sign of the timing chain problem before we stand (which will probably be refused) or make a counteroffer. I previously purchased a 2005 F150 with that, and wow was that a lot of work changing chains and phasers, but I learned a lot from that experience.
