engine management lamp on 03 TD4

Can anyone help
the engine management lamp has started to come on at 2500+rpm in fifth
the car seems to idle OK & rev OK
there is also a 'sucking' noise when accelerating

Most likely cause would be one of the hoses !

Try lookin for any splits in them , the top right angled one's a favourite then check the ones to the intercooler
