On the passenger side there is a tie rod from the bulkhead down to the engine bay bodywork, looks a sturdy beast but non on the other side, any1 no what it does or what i risk if i remove it.

Clearly its there 4 a reason but if i want to remove and then compensate for its removal i need to know what its doing, and why 1 side needs it and not the other

need the space 4 somthing else

cheers

Nope, it goes from bulkhead to engine bay bodywork, the iner wing, so is the bulkhead supporting the wing or the wing supporting the bulkhead. Or i guess just stiffening but niether supports the other.

So i guess i still dont know, and its not as clear as prev post would imply

Humm ok, so if i move the tie rod over a bit and secure the bulkhead direct to the chassis some the wing should be ok disconected. I think i agree wi yer view yella disco.
