I got td4 56 reg and the engine management light is coming on when I'm going up big hill or towing but if I only press acceleratior down for 15 seconds it doesn't come on. The code that came up was the turbo actuator fault but the garage said I got to buy one first just in case it's not that ? Any suggestions

hi

have u checked ur turbo actuator vacuum hoses first for splits , also see if the turbo filter is ok, as u look at the engine is at the back left hand side , is clear , looks like a fuel filter , only has one hose connected to it , arrow for the correct orientation

still at the back left hand side , look down below the filter and u will see the turbo actuator with the vacuum hoses
