Electrical help needed

Ok had the 93 defender 110 for a while and have noticed a few leccy problems and wondered if you could help me out?

1. Dip and main beam are the wromh way around
2.Things all light up intermitantly on the dash


Took t apart today and cant see where the wiring is wrong on the headlight switch and now ive put it back together i have no dash indication for.Headlights(main or dipped),handbrake,diff lock.Think thats it anyone got some wiring diagrams or sililar so i can have a go at it over the weekend.

Also wheres the best place top get a downpipe for the exhaust as thats gone as well(200tdi)

Check the earth points first, always a cause of strange things!

Haines have wiring diagrams, unless someones been at the wiring before you the headlight problem could be at the headlight end. It's difficult to connect the connector blocks up wrong way round at the switch end. Have you checked for blown fuses?

Try Paddocks or simmilar for the exhaust, I've just got a rear box section for mine it was £20 cheaper than the local exhaust places.

Exhaust is done nd fitted a new headlight switch cheers guys

Kinnelll it's taken since febry to do that. You must have stopped for plenty of tea and biscuits.
