Electrical fault

i have a P38 RR 2.5DT the clocks stop working, they sometimes come on and work, the needles all jump around and the mileage comes on and off, could possibly be a loose connection or bad earth but would this cause the indicators not to work, as when the clocks are not working the indicators dont either, any ideas.

Also today when you turn the key it dosnt do anything for about 5 mins then it will just work and start up

Deffo a bad connection somewhere, check all the earth connections first. RAVE will tell you where to look.
