Electric windows Fault maybe

I have a 03 FREELANDER KALAHARI TD4 should the front window on the drivers side go down automatically if you hold the button for more than a couple of seconds. I have to hold the button until the window is fully down.

needs a quick push once to auto lower, like single clicking a mouse.

only works for the drivers window though
