Electric Seat Problem - wont go forward!!

Hi
I have a RR 2007 vogue SE. The drivers seat does not now move forward but is happy to move, tilt etc backwards. When I press the buttons to attempt to move the seat forward, I can hear the clicking noise of the switch so I am assuming that power is ok to the switches. The fuses look ok. Has anyone had this issue and managed to find a solution?

its often a coin that's fallen out of a pocket and lodged in the mechanism

Thanks for replying.

Had it fixed yesterday by a 4 x 4 garage near me in Swansea. He disconnected the connections at the rear of the seat, cleaned all up and reconnected. All works ok. I'm assuming it was some kind of loose connection. It does worry me - the huge amount of electrical complexity on these cars.

You might as well get used to this discomfit.
