when i switch lights on full loose wiper speed plus fuel gauge drops back to zero and drivers side indicators glow orange front and back any help would be greatly appreciated

It's nearly always an earth fault.
Defenders are lacking in earths from the factory and with a body that bolts together using different metals, foam, sealant and then later on corrosion, it's hard for anything to make a full circuit.
