Hi,
I've just installed an electric fan on my TD5 but it won't run. I've checked all the connections with a multi meter but they all seem fine.
It uses a thermostatic switch within the top hose. When it didn't work after running the ngine for a while I short circuited the switch out which should have turned the fans on but nothing happend.
If i applied a direct live and earth to the fans from a battery would it damage the fans? I just want to make sure their not faulty because everything else seems fine.
Cheers
