eka code, am i missing something

When i try to enter the code, I get a double chirp on every turn.
And the dash still says eka lockout. Any help would be appreciated.

Double chirp usually means miss lock. Trying to lock car with a door open for instance. Make sure all the doors are closed properly and the bonnet. Then try again. If it does not work. You will need someone with diagnostics.

If all the doors, tail and bonnet are indeed closed and you still get a mislock...I would suspect a dicky door lock mechanism....this will also prevent the EKA input.

thanks guys, you were spot on. the bonnet wasn't working all sorted now.
