Ive seen the posts on EGR valve blanking off, and removal, but theres one thing that puzzles me.
If it is removed, then i would presume i have to put 2 plates on, one on the inlet side where the valve was, and one on the end of the pipe from intercooler side?
Also if the whole thing is removed, what happens to the tubes that come off the valve, just unplug them and job done, or do you have to block them off as well. (ive read people doing this with ballbearings)

Ive got a blanking plate, but would prefer to remove it altogether. So should i get ANOTHER blanking plate?
Thanks people :)

get yourself an intercooler top hose from an earlier 300tdi,there available on ebay if your to lazee to go to your local parts suplier, you can leave the other pipes unblocked,
cheers

Does this look right, anyone see any problems with this set up? The valve is left on, but theres no wires to it and the pipe is blocked off from intercooler end.

Cmon chaps, gis a bit of ya knowledge here. Does the pic look a good way to go, or remove valve completely?

Lenny is that a boost guage pipe in the inlet hose OR a Inlet temp guage ??

BTW yes it looks good m8

ps the plate you made for the valve,, would it not just fit direct onto the manifold with the valve removed ??
