Right quick question, daz i,m looking at you here!

Yesterday amongst other jobs i removed and bypassed the EGR valve.

Took her out for a spin and no dramas. Today got up went to start her and shes refusing to start!

Now my 300tdi has the lovely black box, Ecu ERR 6233 fitted. i never removed this at the time. Should i have?

Is there some electrics trickerty i should have done or has my lovely 110 gave me another job to trackdown/repair?

Hi mate :)

Removing the egr shouldn't cause the engine not to start - so.....................

Check:
12v feed to the stop solenoid (electrical connection to solenoid good and tight)

Crack fuel connections on top of injectors to ensure fuel delivery to injectors

Injector leak off banjo bolts are tight and leak off hoses in good condition and fully pushed on to banjo bolt spigots(usual suspects if the car wont start after being sat overnight ;) )

Been working on the engine/fuel system other than the egr removal???

Did yu blank the vacuum hose?

Aye blanked that and had her running yesterday fine, when the wife came home i jumped the 110 and she fired up fine,

I had to ask just to be sure ! The battery was down at 11.8v and refused to start so i,lm going to leave her now, just been out fur a blast tae Tesco fur dinner stuff. And the battery was back up at 12.8 once i switched her off.

Electricerty! white mans magic!......On the plus side ma vents are sorted and the rear window tiger sealed up whilst i was waiting fur the wife!:D

See if she starts the morrow fur work fine1
