hi all i have defender puma 07 reg was running weak no power up to 2000 revs i unplugged egr and engine runs lovely and lively and better on fuel consumption i bought a new egr valve but when looking at changing it i thought twice vehicle was running great. with the old one unplugged but engine light on so i plugged in new valve and secured it to a pipe with cable ties light went out and running supperb will this be ok or will it cause a problem its been like it for a couple of months now and running great cant see a long term problem myself but does anyone know different
