Hi, I have a problem with my discovery 2. The ECU has packed up, part number is nnn000120. My question is... will ENGINE ECU NNN500250 part number work?
Its the same year car, manual box and 15p engine, so on! but will that ecu do the right job or would i be safer getting the same part number.. nnn000120.
Any advice would be greatly apreciated.

But you'll need a diagnostics or a LR specialist to match the ECU to the rest of the truck, BCU etc. You'll also need to know the numbers of the injectors.
At least looks like you may well have got one you can retune the chip on.

The 500250 will work but as said tester is needed for programming

Oops, got the number of the one you had mixed up with the number of the one you are looking at, but no matter, @sierrafery is the guru, so "whatesaid"!
