I've managed to clear the fault with my EAS software, and apart from the leaking air spring my suspension works perfectly.

I want to fit new rear springs but the software isn't working well enough to depressurise the system. When I check for faults I get a list of a dozen or so faults even though there are no problems. It sits up overnight and only needs a minute to regain full height in the morning. In fact I think I get a list containing every fault imaginable.

When I try to depressurise nothing happens. I do get a string of FF values in the RX window of the software.

I'm using vista with a USB to serial connector purchased from TAWpark 4x4.

The lead is too short I agree, and I am using RSW software (tried both versions). I've checked out the video and followed all the instructions. I did manage to clear the fault, but apart from that I can't get any joy. I will try another PC which has a serial port, and windows XP.

Had the same sort of problem with a differrent program I use for work try this below:

If you used the software supplied with the USB to Serial lead, delete the supplied driver, plug in the lead and let Vista find it, then update Vista from M/Soft. Seen loads of problems with supplied drivers for adaptor leads.

I'd also delete the EAS software before installing the USB/serial port lead updates, then re-install EAS program.

I too have Vista with an adapter from TAWpark4x4 but it will not allow the program to work even with downloaded software as recommended. Using another laptop with XP works fine even using a virtual COM port with the adapter!

Go through the range of Serial Ports in software setup, I had 4 and 11 working, but only 11 functioned fully.

Worth a try.
