I thought you never ever ever connect anything electronic with the ignition on or at stage 2 otherwise the BECM throws a wobbly

check EAS relay under left hand seat hasn't been swapped out for standard relay. EAS relay is slightly taller and black. Sometimes these get swapped for standard ones if there are EAS issues and EAS diagnostics won't initiate if swapped.

His vehicle has been plugged into the EASUnlockSuite a couple of times in the last two weeks or so with no connection or comms issues....His relay is the correct type too....

Don't think so. Depending on the module some stuff only works with ignition on and some off.

Good idea, certainly. But EAS works with no ignition and if you enter the module on the Nanocom then turn the ignition sometimes it loses its place and you have to start again. Not sure how the kicker works but might be connected?
