Hi.... Purchased a 2000 P38 with coils and springs.... Recently getting EAS fault max 35 mph... Strange as no air suspension.... Replaced the overide in line fuse and connections seem OK..
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.... I will probably put the air suspension back on.... Hoping for a quick fix in the mean time

Then your bypass isn't working. Most people on here are still on air or pretend to be. You need a steely-spring member like RRDT or 300bhp who might have a clue!

Should be a fuse that you said you've checked should also be a earth with a ring terminal on it hiding somewhere under your seat failing that, check the back of the plugs for the bypass bit as sometimes they are a bit crap and the pins push out slightly when they are pushed together a small flat blade screwdriver is adequate to push any pack in that have moved ;)
