Please help!
I've just replaced the valve and seals on the main valve block for the EAS, I'm on my second compressor and it cuts in approx 30 seconds after cutting out. The reservoir depressurises fully overnight, but the springs stay up (they're all new-ish). Any ideas where the leaks may be, to stop me going through another compressor?
Thanks in advance

Check the pipework from the reservoir to the valve block, if necessary put some soapy water around the pipe connections. Usual culprit for leaks is the springs but you say yours are staying up, therefore the lines to the springs sound ok. However, best to leave the car standing for at least a couple of days to see if the springs drop after the tank has emptied. The pumps do tend to run frequently and also hot as the system is constantly monitoring heights and making slight adjustments.

Thanks for that Irishrover! Although Scottish, I am based over in County Mayo. If you hear of anyone that needs their EAS reset over here, I have the lead and required software. I also have all the manuals if required too.

All the best

Bob
