How do folks I've got an 1985 110 I recently had all the loom off to do some welding repaire and now the fuel gauge reads full all the time I was wondering if someone could photo the wiring on there sender so I can see if I've got it wrong I have run some twin core from the sender to the clocks so I know it isn't the wiring that's rubbed through

think you might have got the two wires from the sender crossed.

Sure you haven't got the earth and live the wrong way round?
I'm not sure this is why I was asking for a picture so I can see

I only have discos so can't help you with that but if you use a meter and gewt soemone to move the sender up and down its travel you should see some variation either in voltage or in resistance.
