OK guys this don't cover my dirty diesel bit just wondering on people's thoughts of the new E10 petrol coming and do you think it would affect the V8s engine much?
There were a few problems when it was first introduced. Mainly with fuel lines, and old motorbikes with panel tanks soldered together.Americans have been running ethanol rich fuel for years, no idea what the palaver about old cars is all about.
If you have a 40yr old car with the original fuel lines then you're asking for trouble even with the normal stuff..
Nowt to worry about.
The Media is a full of horror stories regarding the stuff, the majority is bullshít to be honest
e5 in your series 3 will be okSuper will remain E5

Both easily dealt with, and the formulation is more stable.
As you say, a decade old story that has been recycled on the internet ad infinitum.
