I do the dumb stuff that makes people say "WHY?" and "WTF for?" etc...
So my current daily is a 2006 VW Touran 7 seater, which I converted with the full drivetrain from an R32 Golf (so from a FWD 2.0 auto petrol to a 4WD 3.2 VR6 manual).
I've seen an L405 Range Rover for sale locally that needs some work... and considered buying it as a project to sink stupid amounts of time and money into... That's a dumb idea to start with... but that got me thinking:
Do the Disco 4 and the L405 or even the L320 RR sport (that have the 5.0 Supercharged engine) share similar ECU and electronics architecture?????
I'm thinking about breaking the news to my Mrs, that the world needs a 7 seat Disco 4 with the 5.0 Supercharged engine?!?!?! We already get the V8 5.0 NA engine here, so hoping someone can give me pointers to start a (nother) dumb project
Aspergers and ADHD means I'll spend inordinate amounts of time looking into it anyway, but a headstart always helps
