seem to get this on the freelander a lot, creeking all sorts of stange noises,so i get underneth and give eveything a good spray with wd40,creeking stops but i have to do it every 6 months, anyone else come across this ? just wonderd if they made a thicker type oil spray ? that would do a better job

I had all sorts of craeks etc from my series and the same from my Disco. Never "came" across it though, the neighbours would report me. WD40 good, motorcycle chain lube better.

hyster(the forklift truck people) make a lube spray with ptfe in it, which will do exactly what you want. you need to find a "barlows handling" van and ask the nice man if he will let you have a can, maybe even offer him a back hander. i get it from the forklift engineer at work but he only ever lets you have half a can.
