Hello,

Need some advice from anyone on where I can get a aux battery cradle for under the bonnet and also dash buttons?

ARB do one but it seems pricey! Anyone had one done and also what dash switches have the used?

Final piece before my truck is trip ready

Most of the Discovery-2 switches don't latch - they momentarily switch a wire from the BCU to earth, which signals it to start or stop a function, i.e. - heated windscreen, heated rear window, front and rear fog lamps.

The only latching, live-switching, on-off switches are the cruise control switch, and heated seat switches - but, they are now ridiculously expensive, at around £60 each

A cheaper way is to use the Puma Defender heated seat switch (YUF500150LNF), which costs just under £10

You can change the switch front for a blank, or one from another switch.

The switch bodies are the same for facia or binnacle switches, it's only the fronts that are different.

I posted some info on this, here - http://forum.lro.com/viewtopic.php?p=385823#p385823

Excellent, many thanks for this Paul MC, I'll order them now and just switch the front as mentioned.
