Hi, guys im new to the forum, just bought a Freelander 1 TD W reg and i knew the drivers window did not work. Basically when the cold weather came in Feb this year the window was frozen and my Dad previous owner tried to open it and there was a snapping sound and it now doesn't work. The motor is working fine before i take the door trim off. Does anybody know of a come part that may break. i called my dealership and they want £137 for a whole new unit. I'm pretty handy so a home fix would not be a problem any thoughts.
