I have an 05 plate TD4 with a problem with the drivers window. When I turn the key to start the engine the window goes all the way down. When I press the button to raise the window nothing happens until I have been driving for about 10 minutes or so when the window will respond to the button in the correct way. ie I can lower and raise the window.
Has anyone any idea what the problem might be?
Thanks

That's an interesting fault.
It's probably the window lift module at fault, as that's responsible for controlling the driver's door window operation. I can't remember where it is on the Facelift FL, but it's possibly integrated into the driver's door main control switch.

I do know on the pre-facelift the window control module is fitted on the driver's A post, level with the bottom of the dash, but that's probably irrelevant here.

Thank you for your advice. The problem seems to be water in the switch box. I dried it out and seems to be working now.
