Have a 02 gas Freelander SE. When I punch the accelerator to the floor it makes the computer go into some default limp home mode. I read the codes on the ECM and it comes up with a throttle position sensor problem. This part is $850.00 from LR. My question is does anyone out there have the wiring diagram for this six wire Bosch device so I can bench test it before I mortgage my house or sell a kid?

Yup Paul [titter] ain't got the wiring , but if you turn ign switch to aux possition wait fer a bit and pump excellerator 5 times from top to bottom . that will reset your drive by wire potentiometer fingy , also read somewhere bout either tightening or loosening the pot pedal adjustment to get over this same problem , clutchy or lr might be around later ,they will know more on your model :) :) :)

Thanks for the advice. Worked out great. I have another problem now. The cruise control doesn't work. The button on the dash lights up but the little picture in the instrument cluster does not. Cruise doesn't work. I checked all of the fuses. Any suggestions????

ER did this werk afore ya reset the drive by wire fingy Paul ? un yer know wot i'm finking. . . . .:)
 
Ming,

It stopped working when the fingy stopped working. That's the last time anyone remembers it working right. I see someone was talking about doing some reconfiguring but I didn't unconfigure anything to start with. The dealer ( I know, don't trust them!!!) said it might be the brake switch. Will check tonight!
