Well, I bit the bullet and booked her in for test.
You wouldn't believe the amount of faults I found whilst doing a quick check this morning.

No plate lamp rotton, 1 sidelamp out, indicator stalks loose, battery not secured, oh and it needed a wash:D

Where do you take it to? Had mine in Risley Trucks & MOT on fri, seem a good bunch of lads...£50 though!

Takin it back to Black Bear bridge where it was done two weeks ago, may just do me a retest:)
I've found him very fair as he doesn't want any work from mot fails just get em through. As long as it's ok then he's not picky if you know what I mean and he knows old vehicles.
presume yours passed then:)

Yeah, passed no probs, but always good to have a bit extra local knowledge! I've used that tyre place at Black Bear a fair few times and they've always been pretty reasonable. Hope it passes, there's nothing like that sick feeling when you see their face as you walk in...

Know what you mean, sharp intake of breath as well.
Not Bromley tyres by the way, it's the other side the bridge goin towards latchford on the left, J.R.T. Motor services, they are building flats in front of him now I think.
Nice when it passes, not sure on mine there are so many bits that are rotting away and falling off, summat new every day.
