Dorr post and captive nuts

WELL I DID A BAD THING!
i took the drivers side door of as i need to do some major welding on it and i dont know how to put the doors back on i have relpaced to whole pst and i have a bulkhead repair peice now what i cant get a captive nut in!!!

HELP URGENT
