Don't you mean the rear of the cab? anyway I don't know where or how it mounts to the cab. I am wondering if anything else connects to it as I can see no way of connecting it

No, it runs along the underside of the floor. It also supports the seatbox and it connects at one end as shown on your picture to the bulkhead/door pillar and the other end bolts to front of the rear tub at the bottom. This is what supports the floor edge and the seat box edge.
I think your refferal to the cab is my interpretation of the body.

Sorry, it must be the wording of my question. I can see no way of fixing the end of the door sill (the end not connected to anything) to the rear of the cab. Am I missing a bracket to enable fitting as all I have on the rear of the cab is the holes to bolt the seat bench to and the holes to mount the cab to the crossmember. Isn't the tub the rear area of the landy, ie the pick up bit. Not the cab

I am well aware of what the sill is supposed to atach to, only the rear of the tub but it is a 90 degrese to the sill (Therefore how are you supposed to bolt it on using the bolt holes in the top of the sill?). On my defender 90 there is a bracket or sumthing that allows the two to be connected. Is that what I am missing?
