Hi guys
Just thinking ahead for when I get to fitting new doors and mirrors but is there a good alternative to the S3 type door mirror inc arm as although I like the S3 type mirror I am hacked off with them as over the past 12months I have fitted two pairs to the 90 and had plans on fitting the same mirrors on the 2a as I had on the 90 but the first ones which were Bearmach ones I mite add lasted about 3ish months before one of the arms decided it wanted to give up swiveled it back to access between the corner of the house and fence as I do to get to the garage then when I came to swiveling it back the arm just flopped back and too, so I refitted the manky old ones till I bought some more then after a couple of months the old manky ones did the same, fitted new ones now but BP ones as the 90 is being sold and don't want the same problem with the 2a, so I am looking for a good alternative that swivels, any idea's please :)

I dont think my SIII arms swivel at all anymore. Not that I have tried too hard. I hate the cheap plastic mirror backs. Tried them and broke the near side glass just fitting it. I am back with a pair of original'ish Wingard steel backed doobries but the arms seem to be seized solid. Better size anorl.

The S3/Defender door mirrors are crap. I must have replaced them about four times in ten years. It's the fixing bolts and threads in the mirror that usually go. I think Paddocks sell the earlier style which look simpler and more robust.
