door locks

anyone got any pics of the rear of the front door handles and connecting arms

i have been reassembling them but summit aint right but ive nothing to compare how ive done it to.

haynes manual dont give me any clues

lift up handles and i got push buttons..

the piece the rear barrel locks connects to seems to turn and not lock properly,and the rear screw spins..

they come loose, needs screw tightening-both mine did it

do i need to put a dab of superglue or loctite on it to stop it comin loose again,i have tightend it a couple of times its a very thin screw but even when tightend,when you turn the lock with the key you can turn it further to the left and the right than its supposed to not sure if ive left summit off

there is a small plastic washer between the little bolt/screw and the plastic arm. dont know if that makes sense. a lil orange one it is.

maybe its that?

as far as I remember there was two orange parts to mine, the inner part locates on barrel peg and then the outer bit on top. mine the key went progressively worse travel.
it is possible the plastic pieces have slipped with loose screw.

ahaha now it makes sense the 2 orange bits you refer to i have in a box of bits when i took the old locks off but didnt know where they went..

i knew you guys would come up with the goods,thats one problem hopefully of the list

have read busters guide and what has happend is i missed out the 2 orange bits altogether hence why the barrel would move too far..
