door lock problem ????

hello all,

this is my first attempt,

on my freelander drivers side rear door the button that goes down when the door is locked stays up but the door still locks.

i know its not a major problem but its irritating as the door looks unlocked.
but all the locks still lock with the key fob and unlock ok

this is just one of the many silly little niggles i have with my freelander,
i did say there were no major problems in my intro.....

any pointers would be great

Have you tried calling out the AA? Seriously just because its not an actual breakdown they will assist if you tell them you're in a pickle.
