Just bought a 2000 Freelancer TD4. I have a few door lock issues;
1. Drivers door will lock on fob but will not unlock on fob. It will lock and unlock on key.
2. Rear passenger door will not lock/unlock on fob or key. You have to manually push the button/locking mechanism down to lock and pull the interior handle to unlock.
3 Tailgate will open fine but when trying to close it you have to try the handle a number of times until l you hear a whirring noise otherwise it won't catch and close.
