Door card fittings

Is there any solution for replacing the yellow clip mountings on a door card. The bit that the door clip slides onto has broken and they appear to be moulded to the door card, as in picture. Anyone tried glueing the black clip direct onto these, say with araldite?

Do a search on here. Small self tappers do a great job. The black clips slide over the head of the screw and bobs your uncle.

Im sure Britannica Restorations show this mod on one of his videos, no idea which one it is, but shouldn’t be hard to find.

I can second the trick with a small screw. Done it on about 4 on one door card and works a treat.
