Maybe I’m just being paranoid, Defender never really struggles getting in gear and the clutch isn’t slipping or anything, my gear change is perfectly normal
But it seems the free play at the start of the clutch is a bit excessive maybe?? It’s only something I’ve recently picked up on.
I’ve done a quick video of it for good measure.

what does everyone else think? Normal or too is it much? For me it’s hard to judge, I’ve driven about 6 or 7 Defenders belonging to different people over the last few years and all of them had different feeling clutches from one another.
I was told there is no real adjustment other than to replace both slave and master cylinder on clutch, but what’s everyone else think?
Am I just being pedantic here lol.
for the sake of £30 I have bought a new slave and master cylinder. I just wondered if folks thought it was worth fitting them yet or perhaps waiting further down line?
