Any old how she left the door not quite shut and the interior light stayed on and drained the battery, so I went round an jump started it.
Any how straight away as soon as the engine started the revs shot up to 3 thousand, I bollocked our Myrtle who started it up for revving the taties off it an she ant even touched the accelerator pedal.
We took it fer a spin to get a bit of a charge in the battery an stopped off at the sosidge shop the tickover stayed at 3 thou, when I restarted it the revs went up to 2 thou. So I came home stopped the engine an restarted it, the tickover was normal about 1100.
So wot I need to know is, is this normal after a flat battery, is there something fiednishly clever in the engine that automaticaly raises the tickover if the charge in the battery is a bit low. Is the automatic choke on its way out, or is there summat else to worry about.
