ok fitted new rear shoes in today, will these take time to bed in,the drum gets warm but not hot, also i hve lost a lot of tension on the handbrake,is this normal after this kind of job?
cheers, mark

Yes, this is normal. Brake shoes take a while to bed in just like brake pads. The handbrake should have been adjusted though to compensate for new shoes. This will only get worse, not better.
