Discovery - Alpine Stereo removal

Hi All. Need to take out Alpine stereo unit any suggestions, need to replace with another stereo

yep remove the face plate then remove the outer plastic trim if its stiff just pull it won't break now either side of the unit half way up there are two round pins dropped into little hook shaped part of the cage slide these to the middle position then voila you can remove your unit from the cage the rest is common sense hope this helps
