Just bought my first discovery 300tdi with a full years MOT. However, on the drive home I noticed that when I steer left at low speed it makes a strange whining noise. This only happens a low speed less than 10MPH and only going left. PAS fluid looks OK and it steer OK any ideas?
I also pulled back the rear boot carpet and found some rust at the front of the floor pan, well a big hole actually, near the rear seat mounts. They also have a little rust on them. Do you think a welded patch or new floor?
I guess there will be plenty more surprises down the line but still enjoying it.
