Discovery 2 headlight woe

Hi all,

Used my discovery 2 today and when the lights are on dipped beam the full beam indicator is illuminated. The only time it goes off is when the lights are turned off.

Lights appear to be working as normal, flash works etc.

Any ideas where to start? I was thinking bulbs in case one has shorted out

Hi, the main beam dash indication is not well explained in the book but i think it is not triggered by load but the IDM(interior fusebox's processor) is detecting the main beam input from the stalk and brings up the warning... unplug both clusters and see then, if the indication still comes on the problem is in the stalk or fusebox...or a wring issue between them, investigation is needed
