Afternoon guys,

Not super clued up on the ins and outs of Discovery 2s so had a few questions!

Will 110 dampers front or rear fit a D2? Not troubled if adapters or some fabrication work is needed depending on the extent.

Pretty sure springs don't fit but confirm my suspicions.

Defender Alloys - I know they wont bolt straight on but do any decent fairly slim hub adapters exist?

Mid box exhaust section - I know the downpipes fit but unsure if the midbox

Diffs? I know the fronts are long nose type so that fits but what about the rear? Could a short nose diff bit fitted providing a custom prop shaft used?

Also 4 bolt steering box for a 110, I assume these are different for a D2?

Thanks

Unfortunately alloys don't fit, the PCD is different. Dampers on the D2 have eyes top and bottom unlike deefer dampers.
D2 rear diff has 3 bolt flange, honestly not sure about the front, but I've not seen anything about D2 folks using Defender diffs on the D2 specific forum I'm on.
I think the steering box is also quite different - people would deffo swap them in if not.

Not sure on the rest TBH

Just thinking the diffs wont fit as the D2 shafts a thicker and different splines I believe. Not the end of the world though.

Annoying about the PAS box as ive got a brand spare one for a 110 I cant return.

Dampers bit annoying too. Ill investigate further

D2 axles are different to RRC D1 90 110 axles, more like P38 axles.

Most similarities are engine gearbox and the like, D2 components can be used to produce 90/110 autos
