Is it possible to install a Decat on a discovery 2 without removing the crossmembers?

No, not a standard one, I tried.. you can if you cut the cat exhaust in half and that depends if you keeping it or not.

No, I had to take mine off.... Luckily I had already replaced all of the fixings with stainless steel, so it was easy.
