Discovery 1 3.9 location of map sensor

Hello, I received purchased a 1994 Discovery 1 with the 3.9 engine. I have quickly fallen for this vehicle and enjoy driving it. Recently my check engine light has come on. I checked the MAF sensor and now suspect the map sensor might be the issue. After searching for day for the location of the map sensor to no avail I am trying my luck on Land zone. So does anyone have any info on the location of the map sensor?

I'm almost certain that here is no MAP sensor on this system. The ECU uses a full range throttle potentiometer to determine a load signal. You will need to check for flash codes. The 14CUX ECU was a primitave unit so if you have an engine light it can only be of a basic nature. Have you got O2 sensors?

What is the code that triggered the check engine light?

Guessing is a waste of time.

+1, no MAP.... only 4 sensors: MAF, FT, ECT, TPS
