Disconnecting engine breather pipe?

For reasons unknown to man I decided to disconnect engine breather pipe from the air intake as I didn't like the idea of oil and crap going though my turbo I then rammed a bolt up the air in take so it didn't suck before the air filter.

Can this cause any problems?

Will it not diddle with the pressure? what about recycled fumes?

All i know is all the tractors have breather pipes that just dangle and let the fumes out, I have been told its only done like that on the range rover and outer cars is for the emissions test.

Aye, it does recycle the vapours. On the tractor I just let it dangle too.
