Disco Xenon upgrade

Hi everyone,

I’m new to this site and am wondering if anyone has tried to convert a Discovery 3 set of standard headlights from Halogen to Xenon? If so, how would I go about it? I've had a look on this site for info, but so far have failed to find anything.

as far as i can remember its standard fitment on the SE and HSE models. might be worth seeing if there's one been wrapped and sitting in a breakers yard somewhere and nabbing the lights off it
on another totally different car club i'm a part of, a few people have upgraded their headlights from the yellow japanese crap bulbs to xenons for not a lot of money. Basically you'll need better wiring if its anything at all like those cars, as the extra load can soon burn their wiring out. Dont know how good the non xenon discovery's wiring is though so it might not be neccessary.
and remember if you go for an aftermarket kit dont go too strong or you risk damaging the reflectors etc.

I doubt very much you will find a disco 3 in the scrap yard they only come out last year,if you mean disco 2 then yes you can change them easy enough with a few mods to the wiring there is a chap on ebay selling all instructions on how to fit,cheers tiga
