Hi i'm new to this site and I have a HUGE prob with my 93 disco 3.5 v8 EFI.
the cars been off the road for bowt 2 mnths now because when i last drove it the car started goin into constant crawl mode,it had done this a few times before so I left the car overnight to see if that would help  but when i tried to start it the next morning it just wouldnt start.it turns over as normal (getting a weak spark from end of plug lead)it just wont start.I've changed the ampifier on side of distibuter, changed coil, cap and rotor arm + pick ups inside distibuter and still nowt.Has anyone out there got any ideas becase i am baffled:(

sounds like the immobiliser unit is nackered, check the voltage to the coil, should be 12v, if its low then thats your problem.

What happens is the soldered joint inside the immobiliser cracks and causes poor continuity, so you get low or no voltage to the coil,

The immobiliser is located on top of the heater box so you'll have to strip out the center of the dash to get to it (radio, heater controls etc). its a black box with black wires going to it

I have in the past took it to bits and re-soldered the curcuit board, they are no longer available from land rover so its either solder it and try or lr will sell you an accessory type immobiliser to replace it with
