Hi guys I'm in need of advice, my disco td5 auto won't rev past 3000rpm, I checked the fuel filter it was half full, I'm thinking it could be the pump, could it be any thing else? Thanks charlie

Have you checked for oil in the ECU red plug?

wastegate modulator possibly and make sure wastegate is free to move

IMO the pump's HP stage is gone

As Sierraferry says, it's probably the pump. Our one did exactly the same thing a few years ago and it was the pump. If it is the wastegate modulator, or the wastegate sticking, you tend to get the revs reaching about 2800 then dropping back a few hundred, then rising to 2800 and so on.
