I am almost $500 poorer, but the beastie has had a good going over. (perhaps for that much, I could have had a good going over )
The new oil didnt help with the noisy lifter I mentioned earlier, but its pleasing to know that your beastie is in good nick. Compression ranged from 155 to 165, with minimum spec being 135 psi,
Wolf...you were right about the snorkel. My mechanic recommended one asap as it imroves the breathing, and exhaust mods alone wont do the trick.
The standard air filter is being replaced with an oil infused sponge thingy as the dust is getting past the filter and clogging up the throttle body something chronic. The snorkel is on order to get the air intake out of the front ns wheel well and away from the dust!!!!. (another $700 )
